Green Building

GlennwoodSmokeyMountains

Sun Mountain strongly supports and sustains green building—conservation and protection of the environment in both manufacturing processes and use of raw materials. The company believes that wood is the ultimate renewable resource when used in conjunction with sustainable forestry practices, while also offering good insulation and energy conservation in building envelopes. All of the wood used by Sun Mountain comes from well-managed, sustainable forests in which two trees are often planted for every one harvested.
