Northern White Ash finished in Clear Coat.

Northern White Ash is a smooth-grained hardwood valued for its strength and hardness. Many discerning customers choose Ash as an economical alternative to more expensive species like White Oak. Light in color, with clear white to yellow sapwood and beige to light brown heartwood tones, Ash has a similar density to White Oak. Its pleasing combination of (typically) straight grain and curly patterns gives it a striking character, also reminiscent of Oak.

Because of its shock-resistance, Ash is favored for baseball bats and tool handles; because of its appealing appearance, it is popular in furniture-making. And it is an excellent choice for doors!
