High Quality MDF Interior Doors

Sun Mountain is the premier manufacturer of custom wood doors in the U.S. But did you know that in mid-2020, Sun Mountain introduced a line of high quality interior MDF doors?

Our MDF doors are true stile and rail construction, engineered to resist bowing and warping. We use 1/8″ thick High Density Fiberboard (HDF) veneers, superior quality Timberstrand® Laminated Strand Lumber (LSL) core material, and solid Poplar edge caps for hinge mounting. Panels are 3/4″ thick solid MDF.

Sun Mountain’s MDF doors are available in one, two, and three-panel contemporary designs, with square sticking and flat panels, in standard heights and widths. Solid Poplar jambs, with square corner ball-bearing hinges, are also available. Our MDF doors are pre-primed in the factory at no additional charge, ready for onsite painting.
