Sun Mountain offers a variety of arched-top doors, and one of the unique and beautiful arches is the elliptical arch. This egg-shaped arch differs greatly from standard flat arch or true arch designs. Three radiuses join together to create the unique oval shape—with tight radiuses in the corners, transitioning to a gradual radius on top.
In addition to the elliptical arch, Sun Mountain also offers an elliptical “top rail arch,” where the upper rail of the door is flat or square on top, but has the egg-shaped elliptical arch cut into the bottom.
And, these arches are particularly striking when spanned over a double door unit.
