Sun Mountain, Inc. announced today the opening of a new showroom in the San Francisco Design Center. “We are so pleased to be a part of the San Francisco area, and specifically the SFDC. Although we’ve been successfully distributing our products in northern California for the past 10 years, we’re excited to showcase even more of our custom wood products and options to homeowner, designer, architect, and builder clients in this wonderful area of the country. We believe our upscale wood products are a perfect fit for the amazing luxury homes here,” stated Thad Walton, Vice President of Sales for Sun Mountain.
The new SFDC showroom (located in the Showplace Building, Suite 150 at 2 Henry Adams Street, San Francisco, CA 94103) displays a broad variety of Sun Mountain’s custom wood doors, mouldings and wide plank hardwood flooring. Both interior and exterior doors are displayed in “installed environments”, along with a selection of architectural hardware from leading suppliers such as Rocky Mountain Hardware®, Emtek®, Ashley Norton®, and others. Two “Barn Doors” with sliding barn door hardware are displayed—one contemporary design, and one rustic design. Four styles of flooring are a working display on the floor of the showroom—including 9” wide imported European Oak, 10” wide Hickory with Walnut pegs, 7” wide re-sawn Oak, and 7” wide hand-distressed Walnut.
The Sun Mountain showroom illustrates contemporary, traditional, and rustic/Mediterranean designs, and includes a private design consultation area. A hallmark of Sun Mountain is its fine furniture quality wood finishes, completed at the factory. The showroom includes a large display board showing a variety of wood species in 16 of the company’s most popular stains/glazes.
