Sun Mountain manufactures beautiful custom pocket doors, including solid hardwood jambs (split on one side to accommodate the door recessing into the wall). The pocket door frame and hardware system (from Christner Hardware) is sold separately. Models are available to support solid core doors in standard heights (6/8, 7/0, 7/6, and 8/0), and both 2×4 walls (for 1-3/8″ thick doors) and 2×6 walls (for up to 1-3/4″ thick doors). The hardware includes an LVL header that stays straight and flat, and 16-gauge steel posts for added strength and stability. The track operates smoothly and quietly.
