Sun Mountain manufactured this contemporary sliding barn door for a remodeled home to be featured in the PBS syndicated TV program “For Your Home” (FYH), produced by Vicki Payne. The 35 year old classic-design home (in the exclusive Morrocroft neighborhood in Charlotte, NC) was remodeled with a contemporary flair, and is the 2014 FYH “Charity House”.
The second annual “FYH Philanthropy Gala” was held at the home October 9, and was attended by a sold out crowd. The evening benefited the Oncology/Hematology Clinic at the Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, raising $16,700 for the hospital. The funds will be used to transform the Children’s Out Patient Infusion Center into a more colorful, kid friendly place.
Sun Mountain’s beautiful barn door is made of select walnut wood, factory pre-finished in a clear-coat matte finish (to match the master bath cabinets). The 4-lite double door features satin glass and provides privacy for the master bath.
